Rainier National Park
Many mountains have entertained the human imagination, very few have done so in such an elegant way. Rainier National Park dominates the skyline throughout most of Washington state and is a major contributor to the water table. So in some capacity it makes sense that this place would have great technical canyons. Mount Rainier keeps a fairly steady stream of water for most of the canyon season and contains fairly palatable approaches. But don’t be fooled, what lies in this snow capped jungle lays a special treasure for the prepared and a cold watery peril for the…
…foolish.
