Canyon hardware is expensive

While we need a lot of in-person help, we could also use a little financial assistance. Consider donating to the cause, but before you do, read about what your funding will do so you can decide if this effort is worth a buck.

How funding works with us.

We understand that sending money to a random group or persons can always feel sketchy. So in order to combat that feeling, we want to give you some peace of mind.

Your donations will only go to ensuring properly installed, low impact and long lasting anchors (as long as Mother Nature allows) within the technical canyons of Montana. The mission is to ensure that new and previously explored canyons are fitted for the community. We want these canyons to be accessible to parties so they do not have to treat all Montana canyons like first descents. Well established anchors are nice and ensure that those who do not want to spend thousands of dollars and hundred of hours on doing a single canyon the ability to enjoy these amazing places.

What your funding will support

  • Bolt costs

  • Hanger costs

  • Quick link costs

  • Webbing costs

  • Drill bit costs

What your funding will NOT support

  • Hardware installed during expeditions that are used for scouting

  • Tools

  • This website

  • Anything else

Still not convinced?

Every time funding is pulled and used to purchase canyon hardware (bolts, hangers, Quicklinks, webbing and drill bits), we will post the receipt here so you can ensure that your money is going to the community. Photos of the funding being applied in canyon may also be posted here but may not always be possible.

So perhaps take a chance and donate a dollar. That’s a dollar towards your canyon community. And sure… we get to do a canyon too.
